What does a customs broker do for you?
A licensed customs broker files your entry with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), calculates the duty and fees, and answers CBP questions about the entry. Allied does only customs brokerage. We do not sell freight, so our work is the entry itself.

How fast do we file?
Most delays at the border come from late or incomplete entries. These are our standard times.
ISF on the same day
We file the Importer Security Filing on the day we receive the data from you or your supplier.
Ocean entries before arrival
We file ocean entries at least 5 days before the vessel arrives, so CBP can release the cargo on arrival.
Draft 7501 for large entries
For entries with thousands of lines or high duty, we send you a draft entry summary 2 to 3 weeks before arrival for your check.
Can a company outside the United States import with Allied?
Yes. We add your foreign company to the CBP system as the importer of record. You do not need a U.S. company to clear your goods.
You sign our customs power of attorney online. We arrange the customs bond and file the importer identity form (CBP Form 5106) for you.
Can your systems send data to us directly?
Yes. We connect to CBP, so you do not need your own CBP connection. Our own clearance platform files manifests and entries automatically, and it can receive shipment data and send parcel status by API.
