What did CBP announce?
CBP reminded filers that validations for FIRMS Code, Zone ID, and Port of Entry data in Foreign Trade Zone Admission (e214) transactions would move from the Certification environment into Production on December 11, 2025. CBP said these were existing requirements listed in the ACE FTZ CATAIR. FTZ operators could check their Zone ID, FIRMS Code, and Port Code details through the ACE Secure Accounts Portal.
What is Allied's position?
Allied does not operate or manage foreign trade zones, so this reminder did not change how we file entries for clients. The enforcement date has passed, and clients who operate an FTZ site should have confirmed their Zone ID, FIRMS Code, and Port Code data through their ACE Portal account. Clients with questions about how this affected their own admissions should ask Allied to review the entries involved.

What does the CBP message say?
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reminds filers about the FIRMS Code, Zone ID, and Port of Entry data submitted to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) in Foreign Trade Zone Admission transactions in the Production (PROD) environment.
The validations are currently available in the Certification (CERT) environment and will be enforced in the Production Environment on December 11, 2025.
Please note that these are existing requirements as listed in the ACE FTZ CATAIR located at https://www.cbp.gov/trade/automated/catair.
Trade parties who have an ACE Secure Accounts Portal view as an FTZ Operator can verify the Zone ID, FIRMS Code, and Port Code information associated with the FTZ Sites which they operate, by logging into their ACE Portal account.
