What did CBP announce?
CBP announced a quarterly webinar series for fiscal year 2026 on how to report suspected trade violations and file Enforce and Protect Act (EAPA) allegations. The first webinars were held on January 13 and 15, 2026, and required free registration in advance. The webinars were open to anyone, not just brokers or importers.
What is Allied's position?
This notice concerned outreach on reporting trade violations and EAPA allegations, not entry filing requirements. The webinar dates have passed, so no action is needed now. Clients who want to report a suspected trade violation or file an EAPA allegation should contact CBP directly or ask us for guidance on their specific situation.

What does the CBP message say?
CBP is offering quarterly webinars throughout FY26 on how to report suspected trade violations online. The first round of webinars will be held on January 13 and 15. CBP will be offering free webinars on how anyone can report suspected trade violations online using the Trade Violations Reporting tool, as well as how to file EAPA allegations. Registration is free and available to anyone. You are required to register in order to attend the webinar.
