What did CBP announce?
CBP announced that on January 2, 2026 it enhanced the ACE Secure Data Portal to let importers who are Trade Account Owners add notify parties, also called Special Address Notification (CBP Form 4811) notify parties, under the Notify Parties tab in the Importer sub-account view.
What is Allied's position?
This was an optional ACE Portal feature for importers who manage their own Trade Account Owner sub-account, not a filing requirement. It did not change how we file entries for clients. Clients who want to add notify parties in their own ACE Portal account can do so, but they do not need to take any action with us because of this change.

What does the CBP message say?
On January 2, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will enhance the Automated Commercial Environment Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal) to give importers, who are ACE Portal Trade Account Owners (TAOs), the ability to add notify parties, aka “Special Address Notification (CBP Form 4811) notify parties,” under the Notify Parties tab within the Importer sub-account view.
