CBP updated ACE FTZ admission error codes for Post Admission Corrections
CBP title: New e214 Error Code Validation for Post Admission Corrections and Updated Appendix P
What did CBP announce?
CBP announced it would implement a new e214 error code for Post Admission Corrections validation in the ACE production environment on August 13, 2026. The update added error code 237 and removed 16 error codes described as no longer used from ACE Appendix P, which lists FTZ admission error messages.
What is Allied's position?
We do not operate or manage foreign trade zones, so this ACE system update does not change how we file entries for our clients. Clients who use FTZ admissions should confirm with their FTZ operator or software provider that this error code update applies to their filings. No action is needed from our clients.

What does the CBP message say?
On August 13, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will implement a new e214 error code for Post Admission Corrections validation to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Production environment.
The ACE Appendix P – e214 FTZ Admission Error Codes will have the following updates:
- Added new error code 237
- Deleted 16 error codes that were “no longer used”
