What does the CBP message say?
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is modernizing the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) ocean, rail, and air manifest systems over several releases. The second release of this enhancement (INT-061) is a technical migration of back-end functionality for the rail mode of transportation. It will not directly affect the ACE user experience or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) behavior.
This second release of the manifest modernization enhancement is currently in the ACE certification environment (CERT). Trade software developers may send transmissions to confirm expected responses. Deployment to the ACE production environment (PROD) is scheduled for September 22, 2026.
