ACE Portal moves ACH Refund Authorization under a new Financial Transactions tab

CBP title: ACE Portal Update: New Financial Transactions Tab Coming Soon

What did CBP announce?

CBP announced that on October 29, 2026 it will update the Importer sub-account in the ACE Portal. The ACH Refund Authorization tab becomes a sub-tab under a new Financial Transactions header tab and works the same as before. CBP will also remove the Get Info/Refresh button, and the portal will retrieve current ACH refund data automatically.

What is Allied's position?

This is a layout change in the ACE Portal and does not change how refunds work. Clients who manage their own ACH refund details will find them under Financial Transactions from October 29, 2026. Clients do not need to act.

What does the CBP message say?

On October 29, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will make the following updates to the Automated Commercial Environment Secure Data Portal’s (ACE Portal) Importer sub-account:

  • CBP will convert the existing “ACH Refund Authorization” tab to become a sub-tab under a new “Financial Transactions” header tab, consolidating the ACE Portal’s current and future financial transaction sub-tabs under a single header tab. The new ACH refund authorization sub-tab will function the same as the existing ACH refund authorization tab, enabling trade users to manage ACH refund information directly from their ACE Portal account.
  • CBP will remove the “Get Info/Refresh” button, which users must currently select to retrieve current ACH refund data stored by CBP. Beginning on October 29, the ACE Portal will automatically retrieve the current ACH refund data that is available in the system.
