What did CBP announce?
CBP announced that it was modernizing the ACE ocean, rail, and air manifest systems in stages. The first release (INT-060) was a back-end technical migration that CBP said would not change the ACE user experience or EDI behavior. CBP scheduled deployment to the production environment for April 25, 2026, after testing in the certification environment.
What is Allied's position?
This update concerned CBP's internal manifest system and the software developers who connect to it, not the entries we file for clients. CBP stated the change would not affect EDI behavior, so it should not have changed how we transmit manifest or entry data. Clients did not need to take any action on this notice, and later CSMS messages may contain further manifest modernization releases that we track separately.

What does the CBP message say?
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is modernizing the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) ocean, rail, and air manifest systems over several releases. The first release of this enhancement (INT-060) is a technical migration of back-end functionality. It will not directly affect the ACE user experience or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) behavior.
This first release of the manifest modernization enhancement is currently in the ACE certification environment (CERT). Trade software developers may send transmissions to confirm expected responses. Deployment to the ACE production environment (PROD) is scheduled for April 25, 2026.
