What did CBP announce?
CBP published Quota Bulletin 26-509 covering the third quarter 2026 tariff rate quota for automobiles from the United Kingdom under Executive Order 14309. The quota period ran from July 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026, with an opening date of July 1, 2026. Entries filed early on the opening date received an 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time entry time, and CBP said it would prorate accepted entries if a HTSUS group's limit was exceeded at that time.
What is Allied's position?
This was a routine quarterly quota bulletin for UK automobile imports and did not require action from importers at the time. If a client imported qualifying UK automobiles during this quota period, we can check how their entries were processed against this quota on request. Clients do not need to do anything further about this specific bulletin now.

Quota Period: July 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026
Opening Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2026
All entries submitted after 12:01 a.m. local port time and prior to 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and on the opening date will receive an entry time of 08:30 a.m. for quota qualification purposes. If the total for any HTSUS group exceeds the limit at 8:30 a.m. ET, all accepted entries will be prorated.
