What did CBP announce?
CBP posted an updated ACE CATAIR Error Dictionary that adds error code F875, which flags an importer of record number as inactive for entry purposes if too much time has passed since its last entry summary. The change went live in the CERT environment on June 30, 2026 and in production on July 16, 2026. This is a technical documentation update for filers who transmit entry summaries through ACE.
What is Allied's position?
This message concerns entry summary transmission mechanics and does not create new obligations for importers. If an importer of record has not filed entries in a long time, Allied may need to confirm the importer number is active before we can transmit an entry summary on their behalf. Clients do not need to take action unless we contact them about an inactive importer number affecting one of their entries.

What does the CBP message say?
Please be advised that an updated version of the ACE CATAIR Error Dictionary V50 has been posted under the Supporting Documents: Documentation for Entry Summary Chapters section on CBP.gov (https://www.cbp.gov/trade/automated/catair). This update includes the following:
• F875: IMPORTER INACTIVE FOR ENTRY PURPOSES
The importer of record number is ineligible to transmit an Entry Summary due to having exceeded the allowable time period since the last successfully submitted entry summary.
This update was deployed to the CERTIFICATION (CERT) environment on June 30, 2026, and deployed to the PRODUCTION (PROD) environment on July 16, 2026.
