What did CBP announce?
CBP published Quota Bulletin 26-303 with the 2027 raw cane sugar allocations under HTSUS Chapter 17, Additional U.S. Note 5. The quota period runs from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027 and opens on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Entries submitted after 12:01 am local port time and before 08:30 am ET on the opening date receive an 08:30 am entry time. If any HTSUS group exceeds its limit at 08:30 am ET, CBP will prorate all accepted entries.
