Pursuant to the General Notice (91 FR 48398) published July 31, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is adjusting certain customs user fees and corresponding limitations established by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for Fiscal Year 2027 which will take effect on October 1, 2026.
The Customs Broker Permit User Fee will change from $185.38 to $190.88.
All broker permits issued on or after October 1, 2026, are subject to the new user fee. All payments of the annual user fee for calendar year 2027 (CY27) are also subject to the new fee amount. The CY27 annual user fee payment due date will be announced in a future Federal Register Notice.
