Was hat CBP angekündigt?
CBP gab bekannt, dass sie seit dem 6. Februar 2026 fast alle Rückerstattungen elektronisch über ACH ausstellt, gemäß einer am 2. Januar 2026 veröffentlichten Vorschrift. CBP fügte im ACE Portal außerdem eine Funktion hinzu, mit der Importeure Benachrichtigungsparteien hinzufügen können. Diese Mitteilung erinnerte die Handelsgemeinschaft an eine am 11. Februar 2026 abgehaltene Support-Telefonkonferenz, in der Fragen zum Übergang beantwortet wurden.

In preparation for this change, CBP improved the ACH refund sign-up process in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). CBP also recently added a feature for importers to add notify parties, also known as “Special Address Notification (CBP Form 4811) notify parties,” within the ACE Portal.
CBP will hold a user readiness support call today at 2:00 p.m. ET to address trade community questions related to this transition.
