Was hat CBP angekündigt?
Die National Commodity Specialist Division der CBP gab die Anmeldung für ihre Bildungswebinare zur Zolltarifklassifizierung im August 2026 bekannt. Zu den Themen gehörten die Allgemeinen Auslegungsregeln, Koffer und Handtaschen, Damenkostüme, Stahlstäbe und -stangen, Matratzen, Oberflächen der Kapitel 68 und 70 sowie Watte und Verbandmaterial. Die Webinare fanden auf WebEx um 13:30 Uhr Eastern Time statt, mit Links auf der Webinar-Seite der CBP.

Was steht in der CBP-Mitteilung (Originaltext auf Englisch)?
The National Commodity Specialist Division (NCSD), Office of Trade, is excited to present the next round of approximately 30 commodity-specific, educational webinars to support our internal and external stakeholders. This year, we will focus our webinars on the FUTURE OF TRADE: INNOVATION AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGY, focusing on rapidly changing technology and general classification guidance to facilitate legitimate trade.
From May through September 2026, the webinars will commence at 1:30 p.m. ET for approximately one hour, except for September 22, 24, and 25, which are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. ET.
We are now registering attendees for the webinars scheduled to take place during August and will proceed with monthly registrations for the remaining webinars through September. We will be using the WebEx Platform, which will provide a seamless experience for you and ensure external posting of the webinars to https://www.cbp.gov/trade/stakeholder-engagement/webinars. Each webinar will have its own link to sign in.
