What did CBP announce?
CBP announced an update to the Electronic Export Manifest Appendix O, Schedule K Implementation Guide. The update added Port of Unlading Code 42876 for Hamburg. The message directed technical questions to CBP client representatives and policy questions to a CBP mailbox.
What is Allied's position?
This update concerns the codes carriers and filers use when reporting export manifest data, not the import entries Allied files. It does not require any action from our import clients. Exporters or carriers using this port code in export manifest filings should confirm with their manifest service provider that the update is reflected in their system.
