Was hat CBP angekündigt?
CBP kündigte ein am 9. Juli 2026 abgehaltenes Webinar an, um Nutzer im Umgang mit dem Forced Labor Portal zu schulen, das am 21. Januar 2026 eingeführt wurde. In der Mitteilung wurde erklärt, dass die Nutzung des Portals verpflichtend ist für die Einreichung von Zulässigkeitsprüfungen und Änderungen zu Withhold Release Orders oder Findings, UFLPA Anwendbarkeitsprüfungen und Ausnahmeanträgen sowie CAATSA Ausnahmeanträgen. Die Anmeldung war kostenlos, und die Teilnahme wurde auf das Continuing Education Program von CBP angerechnet.

Diese Mitteilung betraf hauptsächlich ein bereits durchgeführtes Schulungswebinar. In der Mitteilung wurde erklärt, dass das Forced Labor Portal für die genannten Prüfungen und Ausnahmeanträge im Rahmen von WRO, UFLPA und CAATSA verpflichtend ist, und nichts in dieser Mitteilung deutet auf eine Änderung dieser Vorgabe hin. Falls eine Ihrer Sendungen von einer WRO, UFLPA oder CAATSA Maßnahme betroffen ist, bitten Sie uns, die Anmeldung zu prüfen, damit wir den aktuellen Ablauf bestätigen können.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Trade is hosting a webinar on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. ET titled Forced Labor Portal Overview. CBP will conduct an overview to train users on the usage of the new Forced Labor Portal that launched on January 21, 2026.
It is now a mandatory requirement to use the Forced Labor Portal for the submission of the following types of review requests:
• Withhold Release Order/Finding admissibility reviews
• Withhold Release Order/Finding modifications
• Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act applicability reviews
• Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act exception requests
• Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act exception requests
