What did CBP announce?
CBP announced that Harmonized System Update (HSU) 2613, created June 7, 2026, added 23 harmonized tariff records and 54 automated broker interface records. The update implemented Section 232 tariff adjustments for aluminum, steel and copper imports. CBP directed filing questions to its Trade Remedy Branch and HSU questions to the HTS Administrators.
What is Allied's position?
This was a technical data update that loaded Section 232 duty rate changes for aluminum, steel and copper into the ABI system as of June 2026. Later CSMS messages may have changed these Section 232 rates or classifications since then. Clients with entries covering these metals should ask us to review their current classification and duty rates.
