HSU 2626 adds Section 232 updates and removes NM8 flag from HTS 0301.19.000

CBP title: Harmonized System Update (HSU) 2626

What did CBP announce?

CBP announced that Harmonized System Update 2626 was created on October 9, 2026. It contains 4 harmonized tariff records and 14 ABI records, including Section 232 updates. It also removes the National Marine Fisheries Service NM8 flag from HTS 0301.19.000.

What is Allied's position?

We use the updated tariff and ABI records in the entries we file. Importers of fish under HTS 0301.19.000 should see the NM8 flag removed from that number. Clients with steel or aluminum goods should ask us to review their entries for the Section 232 updates.
