What did CBP announce?
CBP posted updated Cargo Release Condition Codes documentation covering Entry Type 13. The update adds error code 334 and removes error code 325. CBP deployed the change to the ACE production environment on September 22, 2026.
What is Allied's position?
This is a technical update to the error codes ACE uses when validating Entry Type 13 (mail entry) cargo release transmissions. We apply the updated codes to the entry type 13 filings we transmit through ABI. Clients do not need to take any action.

The Cargo Release Condition Codes documents have been posted to cbp.gov with the following changes pertaining to Entry Type 13. These changes are expected to be deployed to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Production environment on September 22, 2026.
• Error code changes pertaining to Entry Type 13 o Error code 334 was added o Error code 325 was removed
