Was hat CBP angekündigt?
CBP teilte mit, dass über ACE übermittelte Drawback-Anträge ab dem 22. April 2026 direkt an das Center für Erdöl, Erdgas und Mineralien (PNGM Center) weitergeleitet werden. Das Drawback-Programm und die Drawback-Spezialisten wurden am 6. Oktober 2025 in diesem Center zusammengeführt. Anträge werden dem Team FDK zugewiesen und intern anhand des ersten Buchstabens des Namens des Importeurs (importer of record) an ein Drawback-Spezialistenteam weitergeleitet. Anträge, Privilegienanträge und Papieranträge, die vor dem 21. April 2026 eingereicht wurden, bleiben bei der Stelle, die sie ursprünglich erhalten hat.
Wie schätzt Allied die Mitteilung ein?
Diese Mitteilung legte ein neues internes Weiterleitungsverfahren der CBP für Drawback-Anträge fest und nannte konkrete E-Mail-Kontakte nach dem Anfangsbuchstaben des Importeurnamens; es gilt ab dem 22. April 2026. Wir reichen Drawback-Anträge wie vorgeschrieben über ACE ein, und diese Änderung betrifft die interne Bearbeitung durch die CBP, nicht die Art, wie wir die Anträge einreichen. Kunden mit offenen Drawback-Anträgen oder Fragen dazu, welche CBP-Stelle ihren Fall jetzt bearbeitet, sollten uns bitten, die aktuelle Zuständigkeit für ihre Einfuhren zu bestätigen.

On October 6, 2025, the drawback program and Drawback Specialists were consolidated under the Petroleum, Natural Gas and Minerals Center of Excellence and Expertise (PNGM Center). Effective April 22, 2026, drawback claims transmitted in ACE will be routed directly to the Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Minerals Center for more effective and efficient workload processing.
Filers should continue to transmit drawback claims via ACE and in accordance with the CBP and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR). Drawback claims will be assigned to Team FDK and routed to the appropriate drawback specialist team internally depending on the first character of the importer of record. Should filers need to communicate with their drawback specialist, please utilize the email addresses below:

Privilege Applications, General Ruling Requests, and Correspondence Trade stakeholders should use the chart and refer to the first character of their account and submit all new requests to that office’s drawback email attribute. Drawback claims, privilege and ruling applications submitted prior to April 21, 2026, will remain at the drawback office location where they were initially filed and will be processed by that office.
Paper Claims Any remaining paper (pre-ACE) claims will remain at the drawback office location where they were initially filed and will be processed by that drawback office. Additional documentation regarding these requests should be sent to the processing drawback office to whom the filers have previously communicated.
