¿Qué anunció CBP?
CBP anunció un webinar celebrado el 9 de julio de 2026 para capacitar a los usuarios en el uso de su portal sobre trabajo forzoso (Forced Labor Portal), lanzado el 21 de enero de 2026. El mensaje indicó que el uso del portal es obligatorio para presentar revisiones de admisibilidad y modificaciones de órdenes de retención de envío (Withhold Release Order) o determinaciones (Finding), revisiones de aplicabilidad de UFLPA y solicitudes de excepción, así como solicitudes de excepción bajo CAATSA. La inscripción fue gratuita y la sesión contó para el Programa de Educación Continua de CBP (Continuing Education Program).

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Trade is hosting a webinar on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. ET titled Forced Labor Portal Overview. CBP will conduct an overview to train users on the usage of the new Forced Labor Portal that launched on January 21, 2026.
It is now a mandatory requirement to use the Forced Labor Portal for the submission of the following types of review requests:
• Withhold Release Order/Finding admissibility reviews
• Withhold Release Order/Finding modifications
• Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act applicability reviews
• Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act exception requests
• Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act exception requests
