¿Qué anunció CBP?
CBP anunció una prueba voluntaria de dos años del Manifiesto Electrónico de Exportación de ACE para carga transportada por camión. La prueba evalúa si CBP puede exigir a los transportistas por camión que envíen datos limitados del manifiesto de exportación al menos 24 horas antes de la salida de los Estados Unidos. Después, debe seguir un manifiesto de exportación completo a más tardar 2 horas antes de la llegada al puerto final de exportación. CBP limita la prueba a nueve transportistas por camión que cumplan los requisitos establecidos en el aviso general del Federal Register.
¿Cuál es la posición de Allied?
La prueba es voluntaria y se aplica solo a los transportistas por camión, por lo que los importadores y exportadores que utilizan a Allied no necesitan tomar ninguna medida. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is announcing a voluntary two-year test of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Electronic Export Manifest (EEM) for Truck Cargo. The test evaluates the feasibility of requiring truck carriers to electronically submit limited export manifest data at least 24 hours prior to departure from the United States, followed by a complete export manifest filing no later than two (2) hours prior to arrival at the final port of export.
PARTICIPATION & ELIGIBILITY:

- Prospective participants must have the technical capability to electronically submit data via the ACE Export Truck Manifest Trade Portal or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
APPLICATION PROCESS: Interested truck carriers should submit an email application to cbptruckexportmanifest@cbp.dhs.gov (mailto:cbptruckexportmanifest@cbp.dhs.gov) with the subject line: “Electronic Export Manifest for Truck Cargo Test Application.”
- The email must state the applicant's interest, confirm qualifications based on eligibility requirements, and provide a point of contact name and telephone number.
