CBP opens Q4 2026 tariff rate quota for UK automobiles
CBP published Quota Bulletin 26-510 covering the tariff rate quota for automobiles from the United Kingdom under Executive Order 14309. The quota period runs October 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, opening October 1, 2026. Entries filed before 8:30 a.m. ET on the opening date receive an 8:30 a.m. entry time, and if the HTSUS group total exceeds the limit at that time, accepted entries will be prorated.

Section 301 China exclusions updated for new HTS numbers from July 1, 2026
USTR amended four Section 301 China product exclusions under HTSUS 9903.88.69 to match ten-digit HTSUS changes effective July 1, 2026. The amended exclusions cover goods now under 8413.91.9039, 8413.91.9046, 8413.91.9059, 8413.91.9099, 3926.90.9915 and 3926.90.9920. ACE accepts the amended exclusions from noon on September 23, 2026. CBP says importers who paid these duties on entries from July 1 to September 22, 2026 should file a PSC for a refund.
